Tom Euler

Tom Euler is an award-winning singer/songwriter and accomplished progressive-blues/rock musician from Coastal Virginia. Raised on a rich tapestry of musical genres—including classic rock, blues, grunge, metal, punk, pop, R&B, classical, jazz, and even musical theater—Euler’s diverse influences shape his distinctive sound and eclectic songwriting style. His discography includes the demo EP Fool Me Once (2016), followed by two full-length albums: the blues-rock infused Blues Got My Back (2019) and the indie-alternative departure OBEY (2022), showcasing his ability to traverse genres with authenticity and skill.

This long-time writing and performance team has garnered an impressive list of career accomplishments, including First Place Country Vocalist Winner in the International American Songwriter Festival/Columbia Recording Artist Search, Four Time Kerrville, TX New Folk Finalists, Napa Valley Songwriter Winners, two-time Falcon Ridge Folk Festival Finalists, Northeast Regional Folk Alliance Official Showcase Artists and they are nationally recognized for their award-winning songwriting.

Roxy Coke & Jeff Tabor

Returning to Arts in the Middle for her 3rd year, 15-year old Roxy Coke hails from Shacklesfords and has been playing the guitar for about 5 years. She enjoys taking both guitar and voice lessons and aspires to develop additional instrument skills over time. Her musical influences include Emmylou Harris, Linda Ronstadt, Chris Stapleton, Miranda Lambert, and Lainey Wilson, as she seeks to express herself in the country music genre.

Partnering with friend and lead guitarist Jeff Tabor (who is also one half of The JP Experience duo), Roxy and Jeff having been playing music together for about two years, entertaining audiences throughout the local community and surrounding counties.

Influenced by artists like John Denver, James Taylor, and Jim Croce, Hunter’s baritone voice and acoustic style reflect a love for honest, heartfelt songwriting. Over the years, he has performed everywhere from church services and community gatherings to larger stages such as Virginia's Li'l Ole Opry and The Old Dominion Barn Dance. Whether playing in his hometown or reaching new audiences, Hunter’s goal remains the same: to bring us together in a time when we need it most.

The Bobby Blackhat Blues Band

The Bobby BlackHat Blues Band blends the influences of Chicago, Memphis, Piedmont, and Delta style blues along with a little Gospel into a Toe Tappin’, Finger Poppin’, Hip Shakin’ Blues experience! Bobby Hunter Owens is a country/folk singer-songwriter from Mathews, Virginia.

Blackhat, Virginia’s Blues Ambassador, is an award-winning recording artist, harmonica player, vocalist, songwriter, comedian, and producer who has been playing harmonica for over 50 years.

In 2016, the Bobby BlackHat Band advanced to the finals of the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN. Bobby has won two Blewzzy Awards for "Song of the Year" (I Hear Mama's Voice, 2012 and Please Mr. BlackHat, 2015). He was also awarded two 2016 VEER Music Awards for "Best Blues" and "Song of the Year" (HRBT Blues).

Morgan “MO” Stewart

Morgan “MO” Stewart is a soulful vocalist, pianist, performer and music teacher based in Richmond, VA, whose music is strongly influenced by Aretha Franklin, Anne Wilson, Stevie Wonder, Alicia Keys, and Beyonce. She has been performing professionally for 10+ years and teaching for 8+ years. Educated at Berklee College of Music and with a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Virginia Commonwealth University, Morgan teaches at Bravo Music Academy.

Karl Werne

Karl Werne is a delightfully creative and award-winning, singer-songwriter and multi-talented musician from Hampton Roads. Some awards include first place in the Fishman National Songwriting Competition in Atlanta and five VEER Magazine Music Awards in five different categories. In 2017, Karl wrote the anthem/theme song for NASA’s Centennial Celebration and performed it with the Air Force Heritage Band. Karl’s 3rd solo release, "This Little Notebook", features Tim Reynolds (Dave Matthews Band), and Chris Gage (Jerry Jeff Walker), among others.
